Guinevere’s Lace Cable

Abbreviations
k – knit
p – purl
st/sts – stitch/stitches
yo – yarn over
cn – cable needle
sl – slip
psso – pass slipped stitch over
k2tog – knit 2 sts together

Cast on 25 stitches.

Row 1: P6, *k1, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo* repeat from * to * 3 times, k1, p6.

Row 2: K6, p13, k6.

Repeat Rows 1 & 2 seven more times.

Row 17: P6, sl next 5sts onto a cn and hold at front, slip next 3sts onto another cn and hold at back, work (k1, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k1) over next 5sts on left needle, work (yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo) over 3sts on back cn, work (k1, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo) over 5sts on front cn, p6.

Row 18: Repeat Row 2.

Repeat Rows 1 & 2 five times.

Row 29: Repeat Row 17.

Row 30: Repeat Row 2

Repeat Rows 1 & 2 twice.

These 34 rows form the pattern.
