Fir Twig Border Knitting Pattern

I’ve redesigned the firt wig pattern, and knitted it in two colours using the same yarn I crocheted the Mavis Enderby Purse with, a nice muted red and green.

p – purl
G – Green
R – Red

Cast on R 2, G 18

Row 1: G k18, R k2.

Row 2: R p2, G p18.

Row 3: G k3, R k2, G k3, R k2, G k3, R k7.

Row 4: R p6, G p3, R p2, G p3, R p3, G p3.

Row 5: G k4, R k3, G k3, R k2, G k3, R k5

Row 6: R p4, G p3, R p2, G p3, R p3, G p5.

Row 7: G k6, R k3, G k3, R k2, G k3, R k3.

Row 8: R p3, G p2, R p3, G p2, R p3, G p7.

Row 9: G k2, R k18.

Row 10: R p 18, G p2.

      You could try crocheting the pattern, just using sc instead of all the k’s and p’s, if you fancy a challenge 😀
