The Handmaiden’s Purse

I’ve been inspired by Chris’ Netmaking Tutorials, and thought I’d design a crocheted net bag. My intention was to make a simple tote bag and include a few tufts/bobbles in the design, then this pattern started to emerge, and a simple tote bag became a beautiful Handmaiden’s Purse.

  1. This is gorgeous, Shana 🙂
I can see it in white, and used for Brides, or Bridesmaids, at a wedding 🙂

      Thank you ❤
That was precisely my thought as I was designing it, filled with flowers and used as an alternative to a bouquet 🙂

      1. I bought the pattern, and it’s gone in my ‘Bridal’ Folder for that exact same reason 🙂
You never know, one day I might be crocheting one for my daughter to carry – she does love my crochet! Lol
