American Crochet Terms used throughout.

Materials:
DK weight yarn in 3 colours
4.00mm hook

Finished Size:
Approximately 5″/ 13cm across

Abbreviations
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
sl st – slip stitch
sk – skip
st(s) – stitch(es)
beg – beginning
4tr Cluster – (Yo [twice], insert hook in next st, yo, draw yarn through st, [yo, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook] twice) 4 times, yo, draw yarn through 5 loops on hook.
5tr Cluster – (Yo [twice], insert hook in next st, yo, draw yarn through st, [yo, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook] twice) 5 times, yo, draw yarn through 6 loops on hook.

Foundation Round: Using colour A, into mc, 3ch (counts as dc), 14dc, sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch to join, fasten off A.

Round 1: Join colour B into any dc of Foundation Round, 4ch (counts as tr), 1tr in same st, 1tr in next st, 2tr in next st, 2ch, *2tr in next st, 1tr in next st, 2tr in next st, 2ch* repeat from * to * 4 times, sl st in 4th ch of beg ch to join.

Round 2: 4ch (counts as tr), work 4tr Cluster over next 4tr, *14ch, work 5tr Cluster across next 5tr* repeat from * to * 4 times, 14ch, sl st in first cluster to join, fasten off Colour B.

Round 3: Join colour C into any 14ch space of Round 2, 1ch, *8sc in 14ch space, working over ch,1sc into 2ch space of Round 1, 7ch [working back down the 7ch, 1sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1hdc, 2dc, 1hdc, 1sc, sl st into sc], 8sc in same 14 space, 1ch* repeat from * to * 5 times, sl st in 1st sc to join, fasten off Colour C, sew in ends.
